Art Commission!
As I posted earlier, I thought it would be a goofy idea to commission some panda themed artwork from an Artist that caught our eye at Dragon Con.

Well, this is it, and it is absolutely wonderful. Turns out it wasn’t a goofy idea at all. Autumn was great to work with. Check out her other work (clicking the art should bring you to her web page).
Art
Now that Jen has posted the place and time, here’s a little story.
Jen and I have gone together to Dragon Con each year for the last four. For those who don’t know, Dragon Con is a fantasy and science fiction (and everything else) convention that is held every year in Atlanta, Georgia.
This year, Jen spotted Autumn Frederickson, an artist at Dragon Con who does lots of great art. Since I am a panda, we both noticed her paintings with Pandas. We bought a painting (top), the panda in a Sriracha bottle (which now hangs in our kitchen).
With the wedding planning, I got this goofy idea. Maybe I could ask Autumn to do something for our wedding. Well, I asked some questions, and sent off the agreement yesterday. Hopefully, she accepts it (if not, that would be awkward).
Jen and I both discussed this, and there is nothing that she has done with Pandas that we don’t think is super-cute. So, we are leaving the commission pretty open. The theme is giant pandas in love.
Jen and I are very excited to see what Autumn comes up with. When we get it, I will have permission to post the art here. Like this post, it will include links to one or more of Autumn’s Web sites.

No Surnames Were Harmed in the Making of This Marriage
Nobody’s name will change.
While the very name of this website is an adorkable mashup of last names, it is only for the purposes of the Internet. Neither of us has any desire to change our name, so we’re not going to do it.
Us In February
Just to give you all something to look at, while we’re still busy trying to figure out specific details: A pic of us at Disney.
Jen and Gary: Engaged
We’re getting married. Probably spring of 2017.
Lots of details to work out, but … hey, there’s a domain for it, so we must be serious.
